Property insurance is sometimes called homeowner’s insurance. TM’s staff recommend that those who live in a multi-unit or apartment building check whether property or homeowner’s insurance is shared for the whole building or everyone has their own insurance. If the insurance is shared, there’s no need to buy individual property insurance for your property.
